ROTHERHAM United’s top scorer Daniel Nardiello is doubtful for tomorrow’s big League Two game at Bradford City.

He injured himself in the actual act of scoring his 20th goal of the season after just three minutes of the 2-1 win over Fleetwood.

He took a painful blow to his lower leg and came off a few minutes later after trying to see if he could continue.

“We’ll have a better idea on Monday how he is and take it from there but I’ve seen the challenge on the dvd and, while not apparent at the time, it’s a shocking one,” said manager Steve Evans.

“We were confronted by a real physicality but we stood up to it with tenacity and desire. I thought it was a great atmosphere too, the fans were tremendous and the noise deafening in the second half.”

Tomorrow’s represents their game in hand. Bradford can still get automatic promotion, which is what Rotherham would achieve if they were to win their last three games.
