IAN Sharps is adamant Rotherham United have the best squad in League Two.
The combative defender, who joined Burton Albion on loan from the Millers until the end of the season last Friday, reckons things are “still looking rosy” for Steve Evans’ men. Fifth-placed Rotherham are nine points adrift of league leaders Port Vale but have a match in hand.
“I think Rotherham have got a great chance of going up,” Sharps told The Star. “They have got the best squad in the league.
“It is just about the manager picking the right team and formations for them to progress. The team has been inconsistent this year but they are still right up there with a couple of games in hand. It is still looking rosy for them.”
Warrington-born Sharps, who is set to make his Burton debut against Barnet, said: “All my focus is on trying to win games with Burton.
“I hope Rotherham do well but I have got to play as well as I can for Burton and see where it takes me.”
The Millers trip to Oxford United has been rearranged for March 5, kick off 7.45pm.
