STRIKER Daniel Nardiello should be back in training at the start of this week after a groin injury forced him out of the squad for the goalless draw at York.
Nardiello hasn’t been in the starting line-up since the game at Port Vale on September 8 and fans were puzzled when he wasn’t even on the bench on Saturday.
“Daniel picked up a groin strain in the week, just a niggle,” said assistant manager Paul Raynor.
“We erred on the side of caution and didn’t want to risk him. We expect him to be training again from Monday.”
Left back Laurie Wilson is also expected to resume training.
