When Alex Revell messed up a good chance, clean through on goal just before half-time last Saturday, it could have been another MK Dons moment. And Millers fans will know what that means.
The big striker did admit afterwards that he carried the thought of the failed opportunity back into the dressing room with him a few minutes later at half-time.
He was starting to beat himself up about it and was also entitled to wonder how his luck really was going to change in front of goal.
After all, not long before he’d done everything right with a leaping header only to be denied by the very best of reflex stops by the Bradford City goalkeeper.
“Look, I was a bit down at half-time and thinking about things but the gaffer was brilliant,” reveals Revell.
