Rotherham United crashed to a 5-0 Championship defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Millers were second best in the first half and deserved to trail 2-0 to goals from Benik Afobe in the 23rd minute and old boy Nouha Dicko five minutes later.
They were the dominant side at the start of the second period and could have scored twice through Matt Derbyshire only for the home side to deliver the killer blow in the 63rd minute with Afobe’s second.
Adam Hammill brought a flying save from Tomasz Kuszczak and substitute Conor Sammon missed two easy headers before Dave Edwards headed a fourth in the 72nd minute.
And seven minutes later is was 5-0 as Bakary Sako beat Adam Collin in the Rotherham goal.
Many of the Millers supporters had left well before the final whistle.
Wolves carried too much speed and movement in attack for the visitors who looked off the pace after their epic effort in the midweek 3-3 draw with Derby County.
Just before the break, Derbyshire miscued his volley in front of an open net when a goal would have put the Millers back in the game.
