ADAM Le Fondre looks set to get his place back in Rotherham’s side for their clash with second-placed Bury at Don Valley on Saturday.

The 21-goal striker was “rested” for the midweek game at Bradford City having played in all 34 league games.

“I felt Adam needed a break, he’s looked a little bit jaded in the last few games so we rested him” said Millers manager Ronnie Moore.

“He understands what the situation is. His reaction? He was fine, he understood.

“He played 60 games last season, another 30-odd this time. Rooney gets a rest, comes back and scores and nobody says anything.

“As a manager, you have to make decisions on what is right for the team and I thought it was. It gives him a break and, hopefully, he’ll come out of the blocks on his return with all guns blazing.”

The Millers Trust Fans Forum at the Carlton Park Hotel (7.30) tonight, with the club hierarchy on the panel, includes details of the new ground.
