MIDFIELDER Ben Pringle says it is ‘crucial’ Rotherham United appoint the right manager to take the club forward.

“It is crucial the next person who comes in stabilises everything and brings the lads closer together,” he said.

“This will be a fresh start for everyone and I want to be in the new guy’s starting 11. I’m sure the rest of the squad will be thinking the same.”

Interviews are on-going for the vacant Millers post. The club are still hoping to reveal Andy Scott’s replacement before the weekend.

The reserves encounter with Gateshead has been moved to April 16.
