EX-Rotherham United chief Ronnie Moore has been linked with the vacant manager’s job at Blue Square Bet Premier Division side Lincoln City.
The Imps, who dropped out of the Football League last term, axed boss Steve Tilson on Monday following a sluggish start to the season.
The Star understands Moore has watched Lincoln on several occasions this year and could be interested in applying for the job. He has been out of work since being sacked from his second spell with the Millers in March. He led them to the League Two Play-off Final in May 2010.
Ian Thomas-Moore, Moore’s son, posted on Twitter: “Think Ronnie will be putting his name in the hat for the Lincoln City job.”
