ROTHERHAM United will now look to land a hefty six figure sum for striker Ryan Taylor as talks get underway with Bristol City over the fee.
The 23-year-old Millers target man confirmed his move away from his home town club yesterday when he agreed to join City after talks with manager Keith Millen and City chairman Colin Sexstone.
A move had always been on the cards once Taylor declined to commit himself to a new deal with the Millers during talks last Winter, saying he wished to wait until the end of the season.
Millwall were favourites to land him and agreed a figure with the Millers - being under 24, compensation is automatically payable. There has been no indication of what that figure was, it seems sure to have been in excess of £300,000.
