ROTHERHAM United chairman Tony Stewart has revealed the club have rejected an approach from Huddersfield Town for leading goal-scorer Adam Le Fondre.

The Terriers made an inquiry for the 24-year-old, who has plundered 18 goals in all competitions this term

“We’ll not sell any players that’ll hurt our chances of getting promotion,” said Stewart.

Le Fondre will lead the Millers attack tonight at fellow top seven rivals Port Vale and manager Ronnie Moore has warned his players to be on their guard at Vale Park.

“We played really well when beating them a month ago and they won’t have forgotten that,” said Millers boss Ronnie Moore of the 5-0 defeat his side handed out at Don Valley Stadium.
