ROTHERHAM United have completed the signing of central defender Richard Naylor until the end of the season.

The 34-year-old was a free agent after being released by Doncaster Rovers where he had played regularly this season until requiring hand surgery in November.

He could go straight into the squad for today’s home game with Paolo Di Canio’s Swindon Town.

“I tried to get him in the summer and he rang me after he left Doncaster,” said boss Andy Scott.“I’m pleased to bring in someone with his experience and his character.”
