NEW Millers manager Andy Scott reckoned the team’s 0-0 performance had been a good starting point but reckons they need to be fitter and stronger.
“I thought they were fantastic, they gave everything and that’s all I can ask for and they deserved to win for all they put in” said the boss after the draw with Hereford. “It was a day when things just didn’t drop and there are times like that; we were so dominant and the majority of the game was played in their half. I think the crowd appreciated what they saw. But it was a good starting point although there’s a lot of work to do and we need to be fitter and stronger.”
He refused to rule out the Play-offs on a day when the nearest challengers also drew. “There were a lot of positives to take out of it and we are still in the hunt” added Scott who takes his side to Northampton on Friday (7.45).
Under 16s will be admitted for £1 to the Easter Monday home game against Gillingham.
