Rotherham United boss Steve Evans believes the home fans will play a big part in today’s top League One clash with promotion favourites Peterborough United.

The New York Stadium could be pushing towards a 10,000 crowd and Evans says he expects it will be another great atmosphere.

“The fans really generate some noise in this stadium and they love it and get right behind their team,” said Evans.

“They certainly have a big part to play in helping us against the team so many fancy to win this division. But we are proud of what we’ve done so far and we are really looking forward to our biggest test so far.

“Personally, I think it will be a fantastic game between two teams who like to attack and the crowd will be roaring.”
