ROTHERHAM United boss Andy Scott has been monitoring the fitness of two of his new signings ahead of Saturday’s opener against Oxford United at the Don Valley Stadium.
Danny Schofield has been suffering from an infected toe while Luke Foster has had a tight hamstring. Neither was risked against Huddersfield last Saturday.
Scott did contemplate getting some additional minutes into them in Monday’s game against Parkgate but neither figured in the end.
Schofield, signed from Millwall, is seen as one of the key signings. Foster, at Stevenage last season and a former Oxford player, has been operating in a specific midfield role.
