Liam Lawrence has picked up plenty of battle scars thus far in his 15-year professional career.
But the former Stoke City, Sunderland and Portsmouth midfielder doesn’t want to be scarred by having a relegation on his CV come the end of this season.

“We’re up for the challenge, there’s no doubt about that,” stressed Lawrence, who joined the Reds in January.
“I’m confident we can stay up. At this stage of the season everybody is trying to win, whether it’s trying to avoid relegation or get in the play-offs.”
