'I want to play at a higher level' says Rotherham United target
The sought-after defender is on the verge of a move to Championship new boys Rotherham.
And a deal for the free agent, who began his career at Aberdeen, is expected to be finalised this week.

Hide AdThe 24-year-old said: “I want to kick on next season regardless of where I am but it is one of my ambitions to get in the Scotland squad.
“I am definitely keen to play at a higher level and I think my performances have shown I can do that.
"My ambition is to get into the Championship, so we will see what happens.
“I don’t know if the Scotland manager will be looking at me at Blackpool. With the way the club is just now, maybe I do need to be playing at a higher level with a bigger club."
Former St Mirren boss Jack Ross wanted the centre-back at new club Sunderland, but couldn't offer him Championship football next season.
