ADAM Le Fondre says his decision not to sign a new contract will not affect his commitment to Rotherham United.
“We’ll see what happens but I’m going to play out my contract and while I’m doing that I’ll play as well as I possibly can for Rotherham United,” said the leading scorer.
His current contract runs for a further season after this one and he said: “I won’t sign one before then but I’ll just play my hardest.”
He got back on the goal trail last Saturday after six games without a goal.
“I’ve never had a spell like that and it was a bit of a shock to be honest,” he said. “I’d not been getting chances but I’m always confident and feel if I get a chance then I know I’ll score.
“I never rest on my laurels and I always want to kick on.”
The Millers are at home to Crewe on Saturday with Le Fondre standing on 18 goals.
