ROTHERHAM United boss Mark Robins will have talks with Ian Sharps and Pablo Mills over new contracts.
However, six players have been released including the club's longest-serving player, Paul Hurst, who this season became the club's record appearance holder with 494.
Central defender Sharps and Mills, who played in midfield and centre defence this season, have been offered new deals with talks ongoing.
Youngsters Jamie Yates and Jamie Green have been offered one-year deals. Both have broken into the first team this season, Green doing so at left back or left wing back.
His progression, along with that of broken leg victim Stephen Brogan, led to the release of left back Hurst, 33, who has been at Millmoor since he was a youngster. In November he broke the appearance record of Danny Williams but ended six short of the 500 mark.
Latterly he has been on loan at Burton Albion who lost in the Blue Square Premier Play-offs this week.
In addition, former Sheffield United midfielder Ian Ross is not being kept on. He was taken on a short-term deal to the end of the season but is not being offered a contract.
Also released are young players Liam King, Sam Duncum, Nat Kerr and Simon Harrison.
