Blow for Millers as Dicko recalled

Have your say

Rotherham United have suffered a blow after striker Nouha Dicko was recalled by Wigan Athletic.

Dicko, who had been on loan with the Millers for a month, had scored six goals in five games and had just scored in five consecutive appearances, the first Rotherham player to do that since Adam Le Fondre in 2009.

In addition to his goals the 21-year-old had brought pace and mobility into Rotherham’s attacking threat as he helped them to sixth in League One.

Manager Steve Evans had said that if Dicko didn’t stay then he would go and get someone else.
