Kieran Agard says he owes a debt of gratitude to Rotherham United manager Steve Evans.
The Newham-born is loving life at the New York Stadium, having established himself as a first-team regular.
In 20 starts and one substitute appearance this term, Agard has found the back of the net nine times, including five goals in his last six outings.
He told the Green’Un: “I am grateful the gaffer has played me and I just want to repay the faith he has shown in me.”
There are times when Evans can be a fiery character on the touchline.
“The gaffer is a winner and instills that in all of us,” admitted Agard. “He has got that will to win, which is a good thing to have.”
