MANAGER Mark Robins’ future is in serious doubt at Barnsley.

It is understood the former Manchester United striker has received a formal letter informing him that he is now serving a 12-month notice period as per the terms of his contract.

Director Don Rowing told The Star: “Mark has said he wants to consider his position. We had a couple of meetings about budgets last week and we have now got to wait and see what Mark wants to do.”

Robins was unavailable for comment.
