Rio excited by Blues cup draw

MANCHESTER United defender Rio Ferdinand welcomed their FA Cup clash with neighbours City after the pair were drawn together in the third round.

The teams will meet again in a rematch of last season’s semi-final which Roberto Mancini’s side won before going on to lift the cup with victory against Stoke.

Ferdinand tweeted: “Third round FA cup game vs man city..great game to kick off this years FA cup, can’t wait.”

The draw for the third round of the FA Cup is as follows:
