Reds manager playing it cool

BARNSLEY boss Simon Davey is not paying too much attention to the league table which highlights his club as Yorkshire's number one.

"It is still very early" he said. "You only have to look at where Sunderland and Derby were at this time last season to realise how things can change. Too much must not be read into the table just yet.

"If you had asked me on August 11 who the top three would be then I would have said Charlton, West Brom and Watford. Fourth would probably been Sheffield United."

Striker Istvan Ferenczi is again ruled out through injury.
