Redfearn helps Thorne win thriller

THORNE Town ran out winners in a seven-goal Doncaster Senior League Premier thriller at Hemsworth Alpha A.

Gavin Redfern bagged a brace for the winners with Anthony Green and Craig Smith also netting. Lee Kelly also notched a brace for the home side Dean Allen adding the third.

Edlington Rangers came down to earth with a bump after last week's win, Retford Town scoring five without reply.

Daniel House grabbed two of the Town goals with Lee Garner, Richard Galloway and Kevin Metcalfe also getting on the act.
