Town celebrating during the win over Dagenham

Evans was rock solid at the back, Rowley supplied two assists and Denton, as per usual, won his headers and linked up with his team-mates well throughout the 2-0 victory.

Shwan Jalal - 7 - Had four or five shots to deal with, mostly from distance, and dealt with everything comfortably. Started the move for the second goal.
Will Evans - 8 - A really good, solid performance, in and out of possession. His surging runs upfield are a joy to behold when Town are winning.
Josef Yarney - 7 - Solid in defence, improved on the ball after the break.
Haydn Hollis - 7 - A no-nonsense display from the big centre-half.
Jonathan Smith - 7 - Took his goal brilliantly, never afraid to take on a shot. Very effective in the second half.

Ellis Chapman - 7 - Overcame a shaky start. Delivered some lovely balls into the box, again. Would have liked to see him demand the ball a bit more, and take people on.
Laurence Maguire - 7 - A mature display in the middle of the park. Gets to showcase his passing in this new role.
Joe Rowley - 8 - Came out for the second half like a man possessed, claimed two assists and is starting to look like the fearless teen who burst into the side two years ago.
Curtis Weston - 7 - Another who was more effective in the second half. Worked incredibly hard, put Dagenham on the back foot.
Tom Denton - 8 - Had an important part to play in the second goal, linked up with team-mates well throughout and twice played lovely through balls for Lee Shaw.
Scott Boden - 7 - Played through illness, scored his now customary goal. A fine finish it was too. Only played 66 minutes but his job was done.
