SIR Alex Ferguson has launched an astonishing tirade at fellow boss Alan Pardew, accusing him of being “the worst” at haranguing referees, and described Newcastle as “a wee club.”
He also accused Pardew of “forgetting the help” he offered him at difficult stages of his managerial career.
The Manchester United boss has been centre of attention since going on to the pitch on Boxing Day to condemn referee Mike Dean over Newcastle’s controversial second goal. “Alan Pardew criticised me and he’s the worst at haranguing referees every game. And he forgets the help I gave him,” said Ferguson. “I’m manager of the most famous club in the world, not like Newcastle, a wee club in the North East.”
