Gordon Staniforth was far from happy with Birmingham City LFC’s last-gasp strikes which led to Doncaster Rovers Belles crashing out the FA Women’s Cup.
Staniforth, an FA Cup semi-finalist in the 1980s with Plymouth Argyle, was bitterly disappointed as two strikes inside the final five minutes from Kirsty Linnett and Jo Potter condemned the Belles to a fifth round exit.
Doncaster captain Leandra Little had earlier cancelled out Remi Allen’s eighth minute opener for European Cup semi-finalists Birmingham.

The Belles now look forward to their FAWSL2 campaign which begins on Wednesday away at Aston Villa LFC.
