Worksop Town moved seven points clear at the top of the Premier Division following a convincing 3-0 win against nine-man Shaw Lane Aquaforce.
Delighted Tigers boss Mark Shaw said: “We deserved the win before the red cards were dished out. We’ve played very well. I can’t praise my players enough; they’ve stood up to the challenge and shown what they can do.”
After picking up just a single point from the last three away trips, Handsworth’s Parramore return journey from Garforth Town was a much happier one having secured a league double with a 1-0 victory.
Alex Rippon scored the decisive goal just after the hour mark.
Maltby Main were also happy travellers, winning 2-1 at out-of-sorts Athersley Recreation, while improving Armthorpe Welfare twice came from behind to beat Barton Town OB 3-2 to secure a fourth win in five.
Struggers Retford United conceded six for the second time in five days as Heanor Town romped to a 6-0 victory at Cannon Park to leave the Badgers six points adrift of safety.
Hallam were brought back down to earth with a bump following their five match winning streak, as the Countrymen finished on the wrong end of a 4-1 scoreline at promotion hopefuls Shirebrook Town.
And it was an Hallam old boy that did the damage as Lee Morris bagged a hat-trick against his former club.
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic recovered from conceding a second minute goal at Selby Town to win 2-1 with second half goals from Mark Stewart and Sam Read - despite having Brad Kerr sent off.
