Hilton has so far brought in striker Aaron Moxam, winger Tyler Williams along with Kane Swinburn, Brad Beatson and Kurtis Turner, who retuned for a second spell with the club. We have to give the new players time to settle,” said Hilton.

“It could take a week or six months for them to click but we have. It is now about how hard myself , Lee (Thompson), Ryan ( Laight) and Shaun (Handisides) work the lads in training.”

Penistone Church continued their build up to the forthcoming NCE League season with a goalless draw at AFC Emley.
