A defensive error saw the visitors take the lead early in the second half.
But Club hit back to level 10 minutes from time when a quick counter attack saw Ryan Ruddiforth run into the box to score with a cool finish, lifting Sheffield one place to 13th in the table.
Meanwhile, Sheffield have shortlisted three candidates for the vacant managers’ job. Final interviews are to be held on Monday of next week with an announcement on Chris Dolby’s successor expected by either Wednesday or Thursday.
In the Premier Division, Frickley Athletic saw their relegation fears deepen with a 2-0 home defeat against Kendal Town, which leaves the Westfield Lane outfit stuck in the bottom four.
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic bounced back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Shirebrook Town in the NCE Koolsport Division One. Tom Copping hit the only goal of the game on 62 minutes with a fine strike from just outside the box to end a run of five defeats on the trot.
Askern Villa went down 2-0 at home against Barton Town Old Boys, conceding a goal in each half.
