Parkgate bounced back from three successive defeats to beat Premier Division strugglers Hall Road Rangers 2-0 at Green Lane.

Parkgate made the breakthrough on 59 minutes, Hill crossing for Craig Fletcher who took a touch before tucking his shot away out of the reach of the keeper.

The hosts sealed the points with the second, Martyn Lee breaking away down the right to score with an excellent finish to lift Parkgate back into the top ten.

Ten-man Maltby Main went down 1-0 at Tadcaster Albion. Nick Thompson hit the winner three minutes from time after the Miners had Mark Stewart sent-off on 65 minutes for a second yellow card.

Armthorpe Welfare remain in relegation trouble after a 3-1 defeat at second-placed Brighouse Town. Darren Mansaram scored their consolation following a free-kick.

Worksop Parramore made it eight wins from nine with a 2-1 victory at Glasshoughton Welfare with goals from man-of-the-match Darryl Winter and an own-goal.

Retford United came from behind to beat Arnold Town 2-1 with goals by Reece Thompson and James O’Nei.

In Division One, Hallam had to settle for a 1-1 draw ato home to Louth Town. Aaron Moxam gave them the lead tapping home the rebound after Scott Sellars effort had hit the underside of the bar. Danny Deakin missed a chance to double the lead, side-footing wide after being put in on goal. And it proved a costly miss when Chris Ella equalised.

Worsbrough Bridge Athletic beat Hemsworth MW 4-0 to stretch their unbeaten home league record to 17 games. Scorers were Chris White, Liam McFadyen, Scott Turner and Lee Garside.

Goals from Jason Bentley and Matt Roberts two minutes from time saw leaders Athersley Recreation win 2-1 at Eccleshill United.

Dinnington Town went down 3-2 at home to Pontefract Collieries despite a fight back that saw Martin Wade and Jack Mason reduce the arrears after trailing 3-0.

AFC Emley came from a goal down to win 2-1 a Grimsby Borough through Aaron Joseph and Ashley Flynn (pen).
