ALTHOUGH their main focus is on avoiding relegation from the top flight of the Evo-Stik League, Stocksbridge Park Steels still have the prospect of some cup cheer.

Tonight they have the chance of moving into the Sheffield Senior Cup semi-finals when they travel to AFC Emley in the quarter-finals.

With a three division difference, they are strongly fancied to go through but Emley have won their last four in the NCEL with striker Ashley Flynn the First Division’s top scorer with 38 goals.

The remaining quarter-final tonight sees Rossington Main entertain Staveley MW. Already through to the semi-finals are Sheffield FC and Frickley Athletic.

In the NCE League Cup tonight, Armthorpe entertain Parkgate and Dinnington go to Nostell.

Maltby Main’s game with Long Eaton tomorrow is off.

*The S&H CFA District Under 17 Final between Sheffield FA and Barnsley FA which was scheduled for last night, was called off. It will now be on Thursday, April 4 at Harworth Colliery ground (7pm).
