Parkgate saw their Koolsport NCEL Premier Division title hopes take another knock after a 4-4 draw at home to Liversedge last night.

Nathan Swindells and Ashley Worsfold put the Steelmen 2-0 up but the visitors hit back with three quickfire goals to lead 3-2 at the break. Chris Wood restored parity with his ninth goal in five games with Worsfold getting his second 12 minutes from time to put Parkgate 4-3 ahead only for lowly Liversedge to level in stoppage time.

In Division One, ten-man Worsbrough Bridge Athletic slipped to a surprise 4-0 home defeat to third bottom Hemsworth Miners Welfare. Defender Craig Marsh was sent off on 40 minutes

An understrength Sheffield FC crashed to a 5-0 defeat at Rushall Olympic in the Evo-Stik League One. Caretaker boss Ian Whitehorne was without Jamie Hadfield, Callum Harrison and striker Ant Lynam then lost experienced Dan White to injury in the first half in which they trailed 3-0 to a Matt Lewis hat-trick. Daniel Lennon and Lee Brown added two more after the break.

Worksop Town beat Ossett Town 3-2 to make it three wins on the trot to revive their Premier Division play-off hopes.
