Evo-Stick League: Vill leads Sheffield Club to away victory

Have your say

SHEFFIELD FC bounced back after two league defeats with a 4-1 victory at Kidsgrove Athletic in the Division One North.

Jack Muldoon gave Club the lead but Kidsgrove equalised five minutes before the interval through an Andy Kinsley penalty. Vill Powell restored Club’s lead after the break before stretching the advantage from the penalty spot. Muldoon then set-up up Ellis Wall for the fourth to give caretaker boss Ian Whitehorne the perfect start to his tenure.

In the Premier, Worksop Town lost 2-1 at Ilkeston FC where Laurie Wilson hit a 90th minute winner. Tom Denton’s 84th minute header had looked like earning Tigers a point, cancelling out Aaron Hooton’s opener.
