On form Rotherham United chalked up another win tonight.

They won 2-1 at Crewe, their third win of the League programme.

Rotherham’s surging confidence and promising early season form was further boosted by an early away goal.

Adam Le Fondre nodded home the opener on 15 minutes, following good work from Lewis Grabban.

Le Fondre could have had another before half time, but goalie Steve Phillips kept his side in the game.

The second half saw some more drama with substitute Ben Pringle putting the visitors further ahead on 72 minutes, but that was rubbed out by Crewe goalscorer Byron Moore two minutes later.

The Millers held on for the win.

Rotherham starting line up and bench: Logan, Tonge, Newey, Cresswell, Raynes, Harrison, Evans, Taylor, Schofield, Le Fondre, Grabban. Substitutes: Warrington, Marshall, Brown, Pringle, Holroyd.
