Millers boss to loan out

MARK Robins could be looking to let one or two of his younger Rotherham United players go out on loan.

"It is something I am considering because I feel they will benefit from the experience," said the Millers manager.

"I've had one or two inquiries and something almost happened this week but there could be an opportunity next week."

One possible target for clubs could be 19-year-old striker Ryan Taylor who is on the fringe of the first team but has under 20 appearances.

With Bruce Dyer coming in on loan, Robins may feel it is the ideal time for Taylor to have a loan spell out although injuries this week scuppered any prospect.

Derek Holmes and Chris O'Grady were both injury doubts for today's home game with Notts County and Robins was hardly in a position to let any striker loaned out.
