It’s been a busy couple of weeks for the axe-wielders in professional football.
Sean O’Driscoll’s recent departure from Doncaster Rovers is one of five changes forced at clubs since August 26.
The latest victim is Keith Millen, at bottom-of-the-Championship Bristol City, yesterday.
City have won just once in 10 league outings this term, and are without a home victory all season.
The final straw came on Saturday, when the Robins were thrashed 5-0 by Blackpool, leaving many City fans calling for the manager to be axed.
Chairman Colin Sexstone praised Millen: “I’d like to place on record my thanks to Keith for 12 years service. He’s an outstanding coach.”
