Meadowhall League: Jubilee hit six to increase lead at top to 11 points

Brunsmeer Athletic saw their Meadowhall League U21 Division title ambitions take another knock following a 6-0 thrashing away at leaders Jubilee Rangers.

Although Brunsmeer remain second, they are now 11 points behind the leaders having played a game more, while Rangers are now 11 without loss.

Swinton Athletic Spartans, sixth in the table, have given themselves a glimmer of hope of being involved in the title race after making it back-to-back victories with a narrow 4-3 win over bottom side Beighton Falcons.

Goals from Travis Grierson, Dylan Middleton and a Elliott Harrison brace edged out the battling visitors.

Parkgate are up to fourth after making it three away wins on the spin with a 4-2 victory at Steels City Dons. Marcus Ford-Whitham, Ben Nicholson and Silas Valladolid-Collins (2) were all on target to condemn City to a third straight defeat.

Brinsworth Whitehill ended a run of four games without a win beating Swallownest Juniors 4-2. A Josh Curtis double along with efforts from Rory Hutton and Kieran Mulkeen lift Brinsworth to ninth.

The only game in the U18 Division One saw Hallam Wisewood Red climb up to third after making it three wins on the spin with a 2-1 victory at bottom side Retford Blue.

AFC Dronfield White moved into second spot in Division Two after beating leaders Sheffield FC Red 2-0.

Elliot McKie gave the home side a slender 1-0 lead at the interval before the points were sealed midway through the second half through a Edward Willis effort.

It's as you were in Division Three as the top two teams both won. Leaders Sheffield United JB maintained their five-point cushion beating Brunsmmer Athletic 6-3 - Eddie Reed netting a hat-trick, although he was later sent off for a second yellow card. Ty Brookes bagged a double with Jacob Furness also on target.

It was a better day however for Brunsmeer Red as they won 3-0 at Hallam Rangers with goals coming from Alex Day, Ethan Slater and Theo Robinson.

Division Four leaders AFC Dronfield Black lost 3-2 against third-placed Sheffield North End whilst Bramley Sunnyside picked up their first point of the season with a 1-1 draw against Nether Green Grey.
