NORTHERN Counties East League rivals Parkgate and Staveley MW will contest the final of the Teversal Tournament this afternoon (3pm).

Teversal have staged an eight-team tournament at their ground over the past two weeks and it climaxes today.

Staveley beat Handsworth and then host club Teversal in the semi-final to earn their place in the final.

Parkgate beat Pinxton and then had an excellent semi-final win over Evo-Stik League club Belper Town in their semi-final.

An early own goal and a 40th-minute effort from Danny Cardwell after a superb move, put Parkgate through.

n In the draw for the first qualifying round of the FA Vase there are two derby clashes involving South Yorkshire clubs.

Hallam and Rossington Main have been paired together and meet at Sandygate whileMaltby Main will have Kinsley Boys as visitors to Muglet Lane, with the winners facing either Armthorpe Welfare or Appleby Frodingham who meet at Armthorpe. Askern Villa travel to Silsden.

In the second qualifying round there are home ties for Dinnington Town (v Grimsby Borough), Hallam or Rossington (to Eccleshill Utd) and Hemsworth MW (v Barton Town).

AFC Emley are at Liversedge, Brodsworth at Yorkshire Amateur) and Worsbrough Bridge at Scarborough Ath with the winners at Parkgate in the first round.
