League has three teams in Cup semis

Only one game was played in the Premier Division, Penistone Church beating guests Dinnington Town 3-1 with James Young at the double.

There were two games in Division One, each ending in 5-1 victories for hosts Frecheville and Hallam. Frecheville won against Wickersley, with Danny Bainbridge notching a hat-trick, and Hallam had the same winning margin against Penistone Reserves, Liam Simmonite hitting a brace, with Basil Nyoni dominating the midfield.

The only game in Division Two saw Sheffield Bankers 4-2 victors over Sheffield City Frecheville, with a brace each for Matt Taylor and Matt Hackett.

Three County Senior teams reached the semi-finals of the Associstion Cup. Everest knocked out Staveley 2-1 (Ian Winslow and Scott Naseby), and Davy FC put paid to Kiveton Park 4-1 triumph (Craig Haythorne 3). Swinton Station went through with a 3-1 win over County Senior colleagues Clowne Villa, Gareth Halford netting twice. The League will have another club in the semis, if High Green Villa can get past AFC Emley in their re-arranged quarter-final.
