Stocksbridge Park Steels U10s enjoyed a Sunday morning stroll against Greasborough, running out 4-1 winners.
After a very slow start, Steels had several shots at goal but couldn’t find a way through.
They eventually went ahead when Ducker met Marshall’s corner and headed home.
Bartle made it 2-0 in the second half, after both sides had begun to pick up the pace.
The second match between the two sides was similar, with some great saves from Flint and good clearances from N. Dimelow.
Gregory put Steels ahead, but then Greasborough hit back with a great header to level the scores. Platts saw a free space and passed to Saleh, who ran and followed the ball into the back of the net (literally) to make it 2-1, handing Steels a 4-1 victory.

The first came just before half time, from a Harvey right-foot volley, and the second came from Owen’s sweet left-foot strike. Special praise was reserved for man-of-the-match Robertson.

Seddons netted a brace, including one from the penalty spot.
