Sign up in-form European football chasing players ahead of Gameweek 35+ of the Fantasy Premier League

The turgid and slow-paced football which defined the initial return of Premier League football is a distant memory with high-scoring matches, stunning goals (we’re looking at you Mr Welbeck) and world class entertainment now par for the course.

The fight for European places has seen Man United, Chelsea and Man City all raise their game in recent Gameweeks, deploying aesthetically pleasing brands of football. Liverpool meanwhile appear back on track to clinch over 100 points this season.

In this Gameweek’s set of tips our focus is on those chasing Europe and records.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Man United

Man United players are in vogue now due to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s consistent selections and the side’s dominance over opponents since the league’s restart.

The side have two clean sheets in three league games meaning it could be worth eyeing up the Old Trafford club’s defensive options.

Full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka offers the best chance for attacking returns – the Englishman has bagged two assists since the return of Premier League football.

Mason Greenwood, Man United

Fantasy Premier League’s worst kept secret.

The forward costs just £4.7m but has racked up 25 points in his last two games and appears to have sealed his starting place.

What’s more the Red Devils face two sides with little to play for in the coming Gameweeks – Southampton and Crystal Palace – followed by a match up with a struggling West Ham United side.

Ederson, Man City

Rule one of the Fantasy Premier League: don’t trust Pep Guardiola.

The Spaniard’s rotation strategy means that investing in premium-priced players such as Kevin de Bruyne and Raheem Sterling.

The only player almost guaranteed a start week in week out is Ederson and the Brazilian is on form, earning three clean sheets in his last five fixtures.

Harry Kane, Tottenham

Investing in Tottenham represents a gamble of sorts – the club have been in fairly uninspiring form since the start of the season.

But striker Harry Kane almost always turns up against Arsenal – Kane has three goals in four fixtures against the Gunners - and that alone is reason enough to recruit him ahead of Gameweek 35+.

Willian, Chelsea

Chelsea’s attack could be a real force next season with Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech set to join an outstanding Christian Pulisc and an always improving Tammy Abraham.

Brazilian Willian is doing everything in his powers to make sure he’s also a part of the attack next season, averaging 11 points in his last four fixtures by way of four goals and two assists.

Expect him to continue this fine run of form against Sheffield United and Norwich.
