Hallam registered their first home win of 2012 beating Louth Town 2-1 in the Baris NCEL Division One last night.

The Blues went ahead on 12 minutes when Sam Eckhardt cashed in after the Louth keeper made a hash of a clearance and four minutes later Danny Wiltshire made it 2-0. Steve Norton pulled one back seven minutes after the interval.

Worsbrough Bridge Athletic stretched their unbeaten run to four games with a 4-1 home win over Askern Villa.

Scott Ruthven fired the Briggers into the lead from a tight angle, Matt Roberts added a second when his lofted cross dropped just under the bar.

Villa pulled one back through a Brad Johnson penalty but a Ruthven snap shot and an Adam Podmore header wrapped up the points.

Worksop Parramore thrashed Yorkshire Amateur 6-1 at Sandy Lane to climb to fourth in the table.
