Handsworth Parramore cruised through in the FA Cup extra preliminary round beating Staveley MW 6-0 where Jon Froggatt helped himself to four of the goals.

It took Froggatt just two minutes to open the scoring turning in a Simon Harrison cross. Colin Marrison headed in the second on 34 minutes before Froggatt struck again on the stroke of half-time with a neat shot on the turn.

Froggatt claimed his hat-trick with a superb scissor kick on 59 minutes then grabbed his fourth and the Ambers fifth eight minutes later with a close range header before substitute Alex Rippon completed the rout three minutes from time.

Armthorpe Welfare progressed 2-1 at Hemnsworth MW where Dave Buck netted both.

Maltby Main earned a replay at Muglet Lane on Wednesday following a 2-2 draw at Ashton Athletic.

Danny Swales and Dean Conway goals twice saw the Miners in front only for the home side to snatch a second equaliser 12 minutes from time.

Worksop Town went out 3-1 at Abbey Hey despite taking a 49th minute lead through Adam Ward. The tie however was marred by a mass brawl that saw the Tigers Ross Henshaw harshly sent off along with the hosts Daniel Hewitt for throwing punches.

Penistone Church went out 2-0 at home against Shirebrook Town where former Hallam favourite Aaron Moxam scored both goals.

And there were 1-0 defeats for both Athersley Recreation and Retford United at Alsager Town and Shepshed Dynamo respectively
