Rumours that the football world record fee is about to be smashed is growing with reports that Manchester United are to spend £240m on a deal for Neymar.

The Sun reports the Brazilian star will head to Old Trafford as United look to become a major player on the European stage once again.

But Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has dismissed the rumours that Neymar will be leaving the Nou Camp.
