Part of the eight-week programme involves two weeks of intense boxing exercises at the Proact Stadium, helping the participants to get more active.

Steve Osbaldeston MBE, founder of OZ BOX, said: “It’s great to be working with the Community Trust.

“Being at the heart of the community, we’ve found that basing our sessions at The HUB has increased our participation rates and reputation.

“We’re hoping to continue the work we’ve started and continue to give people in Chesterfield an insight into boxing.”

Michael Noon from the community trust added: “From our point of view, we have found OZ BOX a really exciting partner to work with.

“They’e always open to new ideas and have been fantastic with the participants on our courses.

“Steve, Dave and the rest of the team always deliver high quality sessions, which the participants on our A Spire Right programme have really enjoyed taking part in.”
