Closing in on a half tonne of Spireites games, Anderson was keen to end his drought: “It’s my first league goal, but I have scored in non-league.
“It’s a little bit of a weight off because it was in the back of my mind a bit. I think I’m getting close to 50 league games and I obviously hadn’t scored.
“When I was at Burnley in the Under 23s and youth teams I used to score, not a lot but four or five.
