A FOUR-goal haul by Craig Dyson helped Edlington Town progress into the next round of the DDFA Challenge Cup by disposing of Edlington Rangers 6-1.

Ricky Caudwell and Dean Wilburn rounding off for Town while Gavin Smith was the lone striker for Rangers. Town will now meet Adwick Park Rangers B in the second,

Swinton Station Athletic also joined them in the next round after winning 3-1 against Doncaster Deaf.

Travellers FC were the surprise winners in the Division One KO Cup quarter finals, they romped home 5-0 against high-flying visitors Carcroft Village.

Craig Hobson bagged a hat-trick with Dave Sharp and Lee Everitt completing the tally. Travellers will now host Hatfield Main in the semi-final.

A Chris Hellewell goal for Bawtry Town Reserves proved no match for a rampant FC Tavern side who hit seven in reply.

The Thorne side will meet ISG Doncaster in the other semi-final.

Ackworth United and Bramley Sunnyside shared the points in a 1-1 draw, James Bouskill on the mark for United.

Joel Smith and Chris Hancock netted for Woodlands Rhinos in their 2-2 draw away at Hemsworth Town.
