Doncaster manager Sean O’Driscoll felt a draw would have been a fair result.

He said: “I didn’t think either side deserved to win it. Poor conditions, poor game, difficult pitch - one keeper kicks it straight to the other end sort of summed up the game, so it was disappointing,

“We’ve been shipping goals left, right and centre so to keep a clean sheet against Burnley and to restrict Millwall is obviously a positive and when you lose in the last minute, you need to find the positives.”

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett was pleased with the result rather than the performance after their 1-0 win.

The game looked to be heading for a draw until substitute Kevin Lisbie scored a later winner.

Jackett said: “I know how Doncaster feel because I felt it in the week at Norwich so I know it hurts.

“The first half was 50/50, I thought we dominated possession in the second half and I couldn’t quite see where the breakthrough was coming but (it was) a good ball from (James) Henry into a good area.
