This time last year Reece Wabara was about to get first hand experience of the spirit of Doncaster Rovers.
Little did he know in 12 months’ time he’d be lining up for the Rovers, with his old boss Paul Dickov in the dugout.
Such is life in football, you never really know what’s around the corner.
And Wabara is honest enough to admit that he certainly didn’t expect Doncaster to end up in the Championship as League One title winners.
“The spirit that exists here is down to the characters at the club,” said the 22-year-old, whose loan expires in January.
